Michael Charlesworth's funeral was a most moving occasion, with tributes given by Alan Charlesworth, Martin Charlesworth, Robin Brooke-Smith and the Headman.  The service started with the Shrewsbury School String Ensemble playing the slow movement from Elgar's 'Serenade for Strings' and later Shrewsbury Schola Cantorum sang John Rutter's 'For the Beauty of the Earth'.  You can see a picture below and we hope to have a full page of photographs up after half term.

The Memorial Service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at Shrewsbury on Saturday 27th September.  Details will be posted both on our Memorials Page (click button on the left) and in the Reunions section, as they are finalised.  This is the same day as our (date altered) October Day, and invitations will go out with the June 'Salopian'.
